Here's what makes it so easy:

One-button takeoff. Your son literally presses one button and the jet takes off and hovers automatically. No throwing it in the air. No complicated launch sequence.

Headless mode. This is the game-changer. In headless mode, the controls make intuitive sense—push forward and it flies forward, pull back and it comes back. No matter which way the plane is facing. Most kids crash regular RC planes because the controls reverse when the plane turns around. Not with this one.

Auto-hover. If your son feels like he's losing control, he can just let go of the sticks and the jet will hover in place. It won't nosedive or fly away.
